The 8-5 New York Jets travel to Philadelphia to face the 5-8 Eagles this weekend in crucial game for both teams, with playoff implications on the line. The Jets are coming off coming off a 37-10 against the Kansas City Chiefs and have now won three consecutive games. The Eagles are also coming off a win, a 26-10 victory over the Miami Dolphins.
At 8-5 the Jets are two games behind the division-leading Patriots with three games to go. Having already lost both games to the Patriots head-to-head the Jets' chances of winning the division are slim to none. However; they're in the the driver's seat for the sixth and final AFC Playoff spot. They're one game up on the Raiders, Bengals and Titans.
According to Odds Shark the Eagles opened the week as two-point favorites, and the line has moved all over the place, depending on the betting platform. On some sites the Eagles are down to 1.5 point favorites, and some websites they've moved to three-point favorites.
According to Vegas Insider 64 percent of the wagers against the spread are being placed on the Jets. The Jets are also getting 97 percent of the moneyline bets. The Over/Under is currently 44 points and 65 percent of the money is coming in on the over.
