Week 10 NFL Power Rankings: Jets And Giants Up After Big Wins

Both New York football teams improved in the SB Nation power rankings with big wins this weekend.

Both New York teams moved in the Week 10 NFL Power Rankings following impressive victories on Sunday.

The New York Giants helped the New York Jets out this weekend with their massive victory over the New England Patriots. The number 85 continues to haunt the Patriots who gave up a last-minute touchdown to Jake Ballard to lose the game. The big win moved the Giants to 6-2 on the season and settled them into the No. 8 spo in the SB Nation power rankings.

There is a three-way tie for first in the AFC East thanks to the play of the New York teams this weekend. The Jets traveled to Buffalo to play an inconsistent Buffalo Bills team at home. The defense held running back Fred Jackson to 120 total yards and forced two fumbles. The Jets held on to win and improved to 5-3 on the season and moved up a single spot in the SB Nation power rankings. The Jets are ranked No. 11.
