2011 NFL Standings: Jets Tied Atop AFC East

Well, look who is the hottest team in the AFC East. The New York Jets have climbed up the division standings by winning their last three games and improving to 5-3 on the season.

The Jets win against the Bills on Sunday, coupled with New England's loss, created a three-way tie atop the AFC East. Each of the three teams are 5-3, and New York and New England are 2-1 within the division. The Patriots beat the Jets in the first meeting of the season between the two teams.

The best postgame quote came from Jets linebacker Bart Scott:

"We didn't listen when (media) was counting us out. Now you'll be saying 'Jets are back.' We won't listen to that either."

The Patriots and Jets meet next week at MetLife Stadium on Sunday Night Football. The winner will get a leg up s teams start the second half of the 2011 NFL schedule.
