The Jets dominated play against the Buffalo Bills in the first half today, but had little to show for it on the scoreboard, leading only 3-0. New York has now officially taken control of the game.
The first Jets touchdown of the quarterback (and game) came on a one-yard plunge from running back Ladainian Tomlinson to cap a three-play, 19-yard drive. New York added a field goal on the possession before too when kicker Nick Folk added a 50-yard field goal.
The Jets would cap their dominant third quarter with a 8-yard touchdown pass from Mark Sanchez to Santonio Holmes to conclude a three-play, 79-yard drive.
The Jets defense has been excellent so far. Star Buffalo running back Fred Jackson only has 59 yards on 17 carries.
Buffalo’s only scoring came on a 24-yard Rian Lindell field goal in the third.
