New York Jets defensive tackles Mike DeVito and Kenrick Ellis returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday after sitting out the day before with a knee and an ankle injury, respectively.
Wide receiver Plaxico Burress was also limited by a lower-back injury after making full participation Wednesday. According to a report of the Newark Star-Ledger's Connor Orr, Burress began feeling soreness and tightness in his back Monday, but he said he expects to play this Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.
Linebacker David Harris (ankle), center Nick Mangold (ankle) and linebacker Calvin Pace (groin) all were full participants in Thursday's practice after being limited Wednesday, the first time Mangold suited up for a Wednesday practice since his high-ankle sprain. Cornerback Isaiah Trufant (hamstring) was limited for the second day in a row.
