Jets-Bills Score Update: New York Scores Two Second-Quarter Touchdowns; Game Tied 14-14 At Halftime

A 14-yard touchdown reception by wide receiver Plaxico Burress from quarterback Mark Sanchez has helped the New York Jets end the first half in a 14-14 tie with the Buffalo Bills in an AFC showdown at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Burress' seventh touchdown of the season came with just 1:08 to play in the second quarter and capped a short four-play, 36-yard drive that started in Buffalo territory because of a muffed kickoff.

The score also answered a touchdown drive by the Bills, who took a 14-7 advantage when wide receiver Stevie Johnson caught a five-yard pass from quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick with 2:09 to go in the first half. On the ensuing kickoff, Bills kicker Dave Rayner nailed a Jets' upman, and the Bills recovered the ball.

Just about three minutes into the second quarter, the Jets, who trailed 7-0 after the first quarter, got on the scoreboard as tight end Dustin Keller caught a three-yard pass from quarterback Mark Sanchez. Kellar's second touchdown of the season ended a 10-play, 78-yard drive that began late in the first quarter and helpd tie the game at 7-7 with 12:07 to go in the half.
