2012 Super Bowl Odds; Giants, Jets Slipping

The folks from Bodog have released their latest Super Bowl odds, and as we near Thanksgiving the New York Giants and New York Jets are losing ground. The Jets, losers of two straight. slipped from 25-1 a week ago to 40-1. The Giants have also lost two straight, and also slipped to 40-1. They were 30-1 last week.

The Jets has 12-1 odds of winning a championship when the season began, while the Giants were listed at 28-1. So, both New York teams are going backwards.

When it comes to winning the NFC East the Giants are now considered a longshot, despite having the same 6-4 record as the Dallas Cowboys. The Giants are a 9-5 choice to be division champs, while Dallas has 5-6 odds. The Philadelphia Eagles are listed at 7-2.

The unbeaten Green Bay Packers remain a heavy favorite to win the Super Bowl, with 2-1 odds. New England is 5-2.
