Week 12 NFL Predictions And Picks: Jets Rebound, Giants Continue To Slide

Last week, SB Nation New York's Jared Smith went 0-for-5 with his weekly NFL Predictions and Picks. This week, Jared feels confident he will rebound with the help of the Thanksgiving NFL games.

As I stated last week before I revealed my picks, "I don't feel good about any of these." Well, my gut feeling proved to be right as for the first time this season I finished the weekend 0-for-5. The five-game fall has put me at 26-21-2 on the season, which still isn't too bad.

This week, I feel good about a rebound as Thanksgiving is always good to me. So, without further delay here are my Week 12 NFL Predictions and Picks:

Packers (-7) at Lions (Thurs., 12:30 p.m. on FOX): Green Bay is flirting with perfection and this is one of those tough games that will challenge its current winning streak. It is possible that Detroit will be able to put pressure on Aaron Rodgers and that an amped home crowd at Ford Field could propel the Lions to victory. However, I am not ready to bet against No. 12 and neither should you. Prediction: Packers 31, Lions 27.

Cowboys (-7) vs. Dolphins (Thurs., 4:30 p.m. on CBS): As of late, both Dallas and Miami have been playing very well as each are on three-game winning streaks. However, one has to think that the Dolphins run needs to end, while the Cowboys seem to be finding its stride. Prediction: Cowboys 30, Dolphins 20.

Ravens (-3) vs. 49ers (Thurs., 8:30 p.m. on NFL Network): Yes, San Francisco has been very, very impressive. But, Baltimore is probably the most physical team the 49ers will see all season. Can San Fran win a physical game on the road. I won't bet on it until I see it. Prediction: Ravens 24, 49ers 20.

Jets (-8) vs. Bills (1 p.m. on CBS): It was just a few weeks ago that New York embarrassed Buffalo, which hasn't recovered since. The Jets will be trying to rebound from an embarrassing loss to Denver, while the Bills, which are decimated by injuries, are just trying to field 11 players. Trust me, New York will roll. Prediction: Jets 28, Bills 10.

Saints (-7) vs. Giants (Monday, 8:20 p.m. on ESPN): This is easily the toughest match up to pick this week. Last week, New York was back to their inconsistent ways, while the New Orleans has been up-and-down all season. In a match up like this, I always go with the quarterback I feel more confident in. Too bad for Giants fans, that's Drew Brees. Prediction: Saints 24, Giants 20.

Last Week: 0-5. Overall: 26-21-2.
