Jets Wednesday Injury Update: Defensive Linemen Mike DeVito, Kenrick Ellis Miss Practice

Though New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan said Monday that defensive lineman Mike DeVito will play Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, but the sprained knee that kept DeVito out of the Jets' most recent game prior to their bye week also kept him out of practice Wednesday.

Defensive lineman Kenrick Ellis also missed practice with the ankle he injured in the win two weekends ago against the San Diego Chargers, his first NFL start.

Linebackers Calvin Pace (groin) and David Harris (ankle) made limited participation during Wednesday's session, as did center Nick Mangold, who is still getting over the high-ankle sprain he suffered during the first month of the season and defensive back Isaiah Trufant, who has not played since Week 5 due to a hamstring injury.

Defensive linemen Marcus Dixon (knee) and Ropati Pitoitua (knee) both made full participation in practice.
