The New York Jets host the New England Patriots tonights at MetLife Stadium. It will be the second time the two play each other this season with the Patriots taking the first game at Gillet Stadium 30-21. It was the last time the Jets have lost this year.
The Jets have been surging this past month winning three straight games bringing their record to 5-3 on the season. Quarterback Mark Sanchez has commanded the offense while the defense has been coming up with big plays when needed.
This evening the Patriots will be without linebacker Brandon Spikes who sustained a knee injury last Sunday against the New York Giants.
