Linebacker David Harris and rookie defensive tackle Kenrick Ellis suffered sprained ankles Sunday against the Chargers, but coach Rex Ryan told ESPN New York the injuries are not serious and that both are expected to play when they travel to Buffalo after the bye week.
Defensive tackle Mike DeVito is also expected to play against the Bills, although the sprained knee that kept him out of the game against San Diego is expected to be a little more serious than Harris and Ellis' injuries.
"If we played this Sunday, I don't know if he'd be able to play," Ryan said. "That injury is a real one, but we expect him to play against Buffalo."
Ellis had actually started in DeVito's place, but was hurt in the first quarter and did not return. Harris came out during the second quarter but did make it back to action before the game was over.
