NFL Week 7, Jets Vs. Chargers: Schedule, Game Time, Preview

The New York Jets got a much-needed win against Miami last week. Can they keep the momentum rolling against stiffer competition form the Chargers?

Not much has changed in New York. Last week, the Jets needed to beat the Dolphins to keep their playoffs hopes alive. This week, they need to beat the Chargers or fall right back below .500. Even at home, that's a tall order against 4-1 San Diego.

Check below in this preview for game time, TV schedule and more info for the game.

The Jets started the season with Super Bowl aspirations, and still see themselves as a contender. But through the first six weeks of the season, some holes have emerged. Mark Sanchez has left something to be desired in his quarterback play, and the wide receivers reportedly expressed frustration with the team play-calling, an allegation the team has since denied.

"I think we're underdogs at our home stadium, which seems really odd to me," head coach Rex Ryan said on his Tuesday conference call. "But they are an excellent team. They've got a ton of weapons, especially on offense, so it's going to be a great challenge.

"I recognize the fact they're a good football [team] and all that. But if we play to the best of our abilities, I think we'll come out on top."
