The Wednesday Video: The Monday Night Miracle

It didn't take a miracle for the New York Jets to beat the Miami Dolphins this week, but this coming Sunday is the 11th anniversary of the Monday Night Miracle, which means we have to cue up a video about that great game, which included Jumbo Elliott's famous game-tying catch that sent this thriller into overtime. Voted the greatest game ever played on Monday Night Football, the Jets authored a miracle comeback victory, beating the Dolphins 40-37 on a John Hall field goal in overtime, after overcoming a 23-point deficit at the start of the fourth quarter. And it coincidentally came one day after the Roger Clemens-Mike Piazza bat-throwing incident in the 2000 World Series.
