Jets Injury Update: Nick Mangold Returns To Practice, Will Play Monday

New York Jets center Nick Mangold returned to practice on a limited basis Friday, and ESPN New York's Mike Mazzeo reports that head coach Rex Ryan said Mangold's high-ankle sprain will not keep him from playing Monday night against the Dolphins.

Defensive end Ropati Pitoitua (knee) and cornerback Isaiah Trufant (hamstring) did not practice, with wideout Logan Payne (wrist) the only Jet currently listed as definitely out for the Miami game.

Cornerback Donald Strickland continues to recover from his concussion, again partaking in limited practice, only this time without his red no-contact jersey. Running back LaDainian Tomlinson (calf) graduated from limited participation and practiced fully on Friday.

Other players who made full participation Friday were: cornerback Marquice Cole (hamstring), defensive tackle Marcus Dixon (shoulder), linebacker Garrett McIntyre (concussion), long snapper Tanner Purdum (low back), linebacker Bart Scott (toe), defensive tackle Martin Tevaseu (low back) and defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson (shoulder).
