The biggest injury update for the Jets following their Week 5 loss to the Patriots is the status of center Nick Mangold. The Jets listed Mangold as questionable before the game, but he returned to the field after missing the past two games with a high ankle sprain.
"I wasn’t going to go out there if it wasn’t going to be able to do everything I wanted to," Mangold told reporters after the game.
The Jets also lost a pair of defensive backs during Sunday's loss. Cornerback Isaiah Trufant left the field in the third quarter with a hamstring injury. Fellow CB Donald Strickland also left the game after suffering a head injury. The status for each is uncertain.
The Jets lost to the Patriots on Sunday, 30-21.
