New York Jets at Indianapolis Colts: Kickoff, Colts First Possession

The Indianapolis Colts received the opening kickoff and kneed it in the end zone for a touchback.

The first play of the game is a slant to wide receiver Pierre Garcon for a gain of nine yards.

However, the Jets defense forces a punt as no yards were gained on the next two plays — bad pass, two-yard loss on a run.

The punt did cause some controversy as it seemed that Santonio Holmes may have touched the rolling ball.

The call on the field, which ruled that he DID NOT touch the ball, is upheld and the Jets start their first drive at their own 27-yard line. 13:25 to play in the first quarter.
