Here are the answers to yesterday's quiz:

1. Frank Gifford was the first New York player to win the Pro Bowl MVP, on January 11, 1959 (Doug Atkins of the Bears also won the MVP, as from 1956 to 1972 there was an award for offense and defense).

2. Joe Klecko was the only player to make the Pro Bowl at three different positions--defensive end, defensive tackle and nose tackle.

3. On January 4, 1942, the NFL All-Star Game was played at the Polo Grounds. The Chicago Bears defeated the NFL All-Stars, 35-24.
