Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens as replacements for Braylon Edwards and Santonio Holmes with the New York Jets. Seems like the stars of the T. Ocho Show would like that. I doubt that will happen, but it makes for nice conversation.
↵T.O. and Ochocinco sounded a lot like Antrel Rolle and Kenny Phillips of the New York Giants did the other day, expressing how much they would love to play for a coach like Rex Ryan.
↵"I'd do anything to play for someone like Rex Ryan or anyone who had that type of mentality," said Ochocinco.
"As a player you would love to play for a head coach like that," said Owens.
↵Oh, boy! I bet Marvin Lewis just loves hearing those remarks.
↵Lewis, by the way, was asked Monday about some overtures Ochocinco has been making recently about wanting to play for the New England Patriots. He said "Belichick’s smarter than that."
↵Maybe Marvin wouldn't mind if his two aging television stars took their act somewhere else. Would Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum and coach Rex Ryan be stupid enough to bring in these two over-the-hill prima donnas? I doubt it, but when it comes to Ryan and this version of the Jets I guess nothing should ever be a complete stunner.
