- Christmas was Saturday, but the New York Jets and New York Giants are hoping they each get the present they have been seeking today. Both New York teams can wrap up (or unwrap if you will since we are still in holiday mode) playoff berths today. If the Jets defeat the Chicago Bears they are in the AFC playoffs. If the Giants defeat the Green Bay Packers an NFC playoff berth is theirs. ↵
- The New York Knicks gave themselves a nice Christmas present with a 103-95 victory over the Chicago Bulls. Hey, if you have to work on Christmas you might as well have a productive day. ↵
- The New Jersey Devils host Toronto tonight in Game 2 of Jacques Lemaire's latest tour with the team. The New York Islanders host the Montreal Canadiens. ↵
