New York Jets wide reciever Jerricho Cotchery is optimistic that he will not miss much time with a slight groin tear.
“They just said they’re going to see how my body responds to it and go from there,” Cotchery said. “Usually when it’s bad, they can put a timetable on right away.”
Cotchery said rehab will include ice, stimulation treatment and tissue massage. He was in “quite a bit of pain” after the Jets’ 26-20 overtime win at Cleveland, which he said had lessened today, another positive.
He said there have been no discussions about surgery at this point.
