49ers vs. Jets inactives: Stephen Hill, Dustin Keller won't play for New York

The New York Jets will be without rookie wide receiver Stephen Hill and tight end Dustin Keller on Sunday, as the inactive lists for the showdown against the San Francisco 49ers listed both as out. During the Jets' pregame warmups, Hill was seen walking in sneakers and wearing a baseball cap (via Manish Mehta), while Keller didn't look happy after meeting with the team's front office brass, coaches and medical staff (via ESPN's Rich Cimini).

For the past week, Hill and Keller missed practice as both are trying to recover from hamstring injuries. At wide receiver, the Jets will turn to Chaz Schilens and Jeremy Kerley to make up for the loss of Hill, who's caught five passes for 89 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Keller will miss his third straight game. Keller's backup is Jeff Cumberland, who does have seven catches for 71 yards.

Other Jets players listed as inactive were: Cornerback Darrelle Revis, defensive tackle Damon Harrison, guard Caleb Schlauderaff, running back Jonathan Grimes and quarterback Greg McElroy.

Meanwhile, the 49ers will be without nose tackle Isaac Sopoaga (knee), quarterback Scott Tolzien, wide receiver A.J. Jenkins, running back LaMichael James, safety Trenton Robinson, running back Brandon Jacobs and guard Joe Looney.

The good news is that wide receiver/kick returner Ted Ginn Jr. and linebacker Patrick Willis are playing.
