Jets rookie wideout Stephen Hill doubtful to play in Sunday's game after missing practice on Thursday, according to Rick Cimini or ESPN New York. Hill is battling back from a hamstring injury.
Safety Laron Landry also missed practice on Thursday, but it was a scheduled day of rest as he recovers from a heel injury.
Five other Jets were limited on Thursday, including tight end Dustin Keller, fullback John Conner, linebackers Bart Scott and Bryan Thomas, safety Eric Smith, and wide receiver Patrick Turner.
Scott and Smith both returned after missing practice on Wednesday.
The Jets will host the San Francisco 49ers at 1 p.m. ET in MetLife Stadium on Sunday. Both teams come into the game with 2-1 records, and the Niners are playing their second-straight road game.
New York is tied with the Buffalo Bills atop the AFC East, one game ahead of the New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins.
