Wednesday's injury report for the New York Jets has been released, and wide receiver Stephen Hill and linebacker Bart Scott did not participate in practice as the Jets prepare for their Week 4 contest with the visiting San Francisco 49ers (1 p.m. on FOX). Scott is dealing with a toe injury, but told the New York Post's Brian Costello it is fine, while Hill is recovering from a hamstring injury. Both players have played in all three regular season games this season.
Also not participating in practice was safety Eric Smith (hip, knee), while tight end Dustin Keller was listed as limited. Keller, who's also dealing with a hamstring injury, is trying to return to the field after missing the Jets' last two games.
Meanwhile, 49ers nose tackle Isaac Sopoaga did not practice Wednesday, as he's recovering from both left knee and ankle sprains. Sopoaga had a X-ray on Monday and it checked out OK, but reports are Sopoaga looked stiff at the team's hotel room.
Also for San Francisco, wide receiver Ted Ginn and running back Brandon Jacobs were both limited.
