Dustin Keller was not able to participate in Thursday's practice for the Jets, and his status for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars is still uncertain. Rex Ryan would not commit one way or the other on Keller, and had the following to say about his tight end, via ESPN New York:
"I know he is getting better, so we'll see how it goes. Not willing to rule him out certainly but this is the second day that he's missed. But I know he's getting substantially better."
Joining Keller on the sidelines Thursday were receiver Clyde Gates (concussion) and safety LaRon Landry (heel). Landry had been a full participant on Wednesday, Keller and Gates both missed Wednesday's session as well.
Tim Tebow was able to take part in limited fashion on Thursday as he recovers from a rib injury. There is no word yet on whether or not he'll dress for the Jaguars game, with Greg McElroy being the other option for the team's backup quarterback job. Tebow will be traveling to Jacksonville with the team regardless of whether or not he dresses.
Also limited in practice on Thursday were Joe McKnight (ankle/ribs), Brandon Moore (hip), Damon Harrison, Stephen Hill (knee) and Sione Po'uha (back), with all but Harrison being limited on Wednesday as well.
