Edwards was claimed off of waivers by the Jets on Tuesday after being released by the Seattle Seahawks last week. Prior to being released by the Seahawks, Edwards had caught eight passes for 74 yards and a touchdown. Edwards has spent two prior season with the Jets in 2009 and 2010.
