The New York Jets hold a 13-7 lead over the St. Louis Rams at halftime of Sunday's game.
The Jets took the lead when Mark Sanchez hit Chaz Schilens for a 25-yard touchdown down the right side with 4:31 left in the first half. It put the Jets up, 10-7.
Nick Folk gave the Jets their first points with a 51-yard field goal with 44 seconds left in the first quarter. He added another 51-yarder with 57 seconds to play in the first half to make it 13-7.
Mark Sanchez has been strong for the Jets so far. He's completed 9-of-13 passes for 118 yards and a touchdown.
The Rams opened the scoring in the final four minutes of the first quarter. Sam Bradford hit Brandon Gibson for a 1-yard touchdown to put St. Louis up 7-0.
St. Louis' Chris Givens had a kick return for a touchdown late in the first half but it was called back because of a penalty. The Rams were forced to punt.
The Rams put themselves in a bad position in the first half, surrendering two turnovers. Both came from Bradford, who fumbled and threw an interception to Eric Smith.
