The newest NFL Power Rankings from SB Nation were released Tuesday, and both the New York Giants and New York Jets didn't see a giant spike or drop. According to NFL Editor Joel Thorman, the Giants (3-2) are the 11th-best team in the NFL, while the Jets (2-3) are No. 22.

Compared to last week's rankings, the Giants moved up three spots from No. 14 to 11, while the Jets drop one spot from No. 21 to 22. Here's what Thorman had to say about the Giants.

11. New York Giants (LW: 14, 3-2): The start in Cleveland had me worried for a few minutes but New York ultimately prevailed. The verge of the top 10 seems about right for a good yet flawed Giants team.

Meanwhile, he had this opinion about the Jets.

22. New York Jets (LW: 21, 2-3): At least they kept it competitive, unlike Week 4. I can't fault the Jets for losing a six-point game against our No. 1 ranked team, but their offense is painful to watch.

Overall, the Houston Texans (5-0) were the top ranked team while the Atlanta Falcons (5-0), San Francisco 49ers (4-1), Baltimore Ravens (4-1) and Chicago Bears (4-1) rounded out the top 5.

Comparing to other media outlets' rankings, SB Nation was a bit harsh on the Giants. CBSSports.com's Pete Prisco, ESPN.com and NFL.com all had the G-Men ranked 7th overall.

As for the Jets, SB Nation was a bit kinder than others as CBS slotted New York No. 24 and ESPN had them No. 25. Meanwhile, NFL.com ranked the Jets No. 21.
