The experts are unanimous in their selection of the Texans over the Jets on Monday night.

The New York Jets host the Houston Texans on Monday night, but experts think the home field advantage won't make much of a difference. Confidence in Rex Ryan's team has waned since a 48-28 win over Buffalo to start the season. Since Week 1, the Jets have combined to score just 30 points in three games, including getting shut out against the 49ers last Sunday.

Joel Thorman of SB Nation thinks the Jets will lose handily on Monday, and thinks the team might be getting a little too much attention as of late:

The big stage, Monday Night Football. The Texans haven't been on this stage enough because they're developing into one of the best teams in the NFL, if not the best already. The Jets, meanwhile, have the feeling of being overexposed, especially their quarterback situation. The Texans should take advantage of this opportunity and take care of business against the Jets.

The pick: 34-17, Texans

ESPN's panel of experts went 12-0 in favor of the Texans. CBS is unanimous in thinking the Jets won't cover the +8.5 spread.

The Jets come in to the game 2-2, but have been under scrutiny since their embarrassing loss on Sunday. The Texans are rolling and undefeated at 4-0. Houston has outscored opponents by a total of 126-56.

Kickoff is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. ET and will be televised by ESPN.
