The New York Jets did not win on Sunday, falling to the New England Patriots, 29-26, in in overtime. The 3-4 Jets did, however, show that they might just be better than most analysts thought they would be just a few week ago.

"We're a much better team right now, we're playing much better than we were three weeks ago," Ryan said on Monday. "We're just not there yet. We've gotta win these type of games."

The Jets lost to the San Francisco 49ers in Week by a 34-0 score. Since the Jets have beaten the Indianapolis Colts and suffered narrow losses to the Patriots and Houston Texans.

"We had to improve as a football team and we did," Ryan said. "I see us getting better. We've still a ways to go to get to where we want to get to. We're making strides."

The Jets face the Miami Dolphins next weekend.
