Islanders Vs. Jets Preview: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The New York Islanders have just two games left in their season, and are trying to wind it down on a positive note after losing their last three games. On Thursday night, they host the Winnipeg Jets in their last home game of the season.

The Islanders have beaten the Jets twice this season, and lost once. Evgeni Nabokov stopped 37 shots in a 3-1 win on Feb. 14, the last time these two teams faced each other. Nabokov is still out with a lower body injury, and many believe he will miss the rest of the season.

New York lost 3-1 to the Devils in their last outing, and are tying to stay above Montreal for the title of worst team in the Eastern Conference. The Islanders have one more game after this one, a road trip to Columbus.

John Tavares leads the Islanders in scoring with 79 points. Matt Moulson leads the team with 35 goals.

The game starts at 7:00 p.m. and can be seen on the MSG Plus 2 Network.
