New York Islanders vs. New Jersey Devils Preview: Isles Seek Second Straight Win Vs. Devils

In a unique scheduling scenario, the Islanders are in the midst of a stretch in which they will play the Devils in three straight games. So far, so good, as the Isles shut down and shut out the Devils Sunday for a 1-0 victory.

Thursday night they'll head off to New Jersey in search of another win against the Devils and their third straight overall. The Isles current winning-streak started with a 3-2 toppling of the defending Stanley Cup champion Boston Bruins on Saturday.

Left winger Matt Moulson hopes to keep up his recent streak of hot play, having notched six points in his last six games. It's unclear if Anders Nilsson, who started in net against the Devils on Sunday, will again get the nod.

The puck is set to drop at 7:00 p.m. EST and can be seen locally on MSG+.
