Islanders Vs. Penguins Preview: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

In the back half of a home-and-home with the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Islanders will look to complete the sweep on Thursday night when they play host to Sidney Crosby and crew.

New York rushed out to an early 2-0 lead on Tuesday night, and Frans Nielsen's three point effort led the way in a 5-3 win. Slowing down Pittsburgh is a difficult chore, but doing so in consecutive games will mean another shutdown effort on Sidney Crosby, who the Islanders forced into a pointless, minus-1 rating night on Tuesday.

After leaving the game between the second and third periods on Tuesday with what is being called a lower-body injury, it appears unlikely that Evgeni Nabokov will be between the pipes for New York, meaning a likely start for backup Al Montoya.

Game Time: 7 p.m. EST

TV Coverage: MSG+
