Islanders Vs. Panthers Preview: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

For the New York Islanders there's much to play for as the regular season quickly coming to a close. The Islanders are just hoping to avoid finish in last place in the Easter Conference standings, and a victory over the Florida Panthers on Sunday (5 p.m. ET on MSG-Plus) would help that cause.

On Saturday, the Islanders (30-33-11, 71 points) moved into a last-place tie with the with the Montreal Canadiens, as they lost to the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-3. The loss was New York's sixth in its last eight games, and with eight games remaining in the regular season the Isles will need to play well to not finish in the basement.

Meanwhile, the Panthers (36-24-14, 86 points) are looking to earn their first Southeast Division title in franchise history. Currently, Florida sits four points ahead of the Washington Capitals, and a division crown would help them snag the third seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs.
