New York Islanders At Phoenix Coyotes Preview

The New York Islanders saw their three game winning streak come to an end last night as they fell to the Anaheim Ducks 4-2 at the Honda Center. Tonight the Isles finish up their three game road trip against the Phoenix Coyotes, in the second game of a back-to-back.

Although it's a home game for the Coyotes, it's not as homey as most home games. The reason being, they are coming off four game road trip, and after tonight's "home game" they hit the road for another three game trip. A home game sandwiched between two lengthy road trips isn't an ideal home game.

The Islanders are 2-1 on the second game of back-to-backs this season, and they look to improve to 3-1 tonight.

Unfortunately the Isles find themselves dead last in the Eastern Conference standings. The Coyotes are also on the outside looking in on the Playoffs, but are only four points behind the Kings and Avalanche.
