The New York Islanders host a Pittsburgh Penguins team Saturday (7 p.m., MSG Plus) that is expected to be missing its superstar.

Sidney Crosby, who said he is erring on the side of caution by sitting out, suffered a headache after a collision during a loss to Boston last week. The team said concussion tests were negative and Crosby, who missed most of last season and parts of this season recovering from a serious concussion, is just being cautious.

A two-game losing streak has dropped Pittsburgh out of first place in the Atlantic Division, but the Penguins are still 12 points ahead of New York in the standings. The Islanders are 6-6-3 at home, and are coming off an overtime loss to the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday.

Pittsburgh has lost two straight following a streak during which the Penguins won four out of five games.
