For those of you who don’t know, this season the New York Islanders’ radio broadcast can be found on Radio Hofstra University on 88.7 FM.
This is new territory for a professional sports franchise and it could be a common water-cooler topic for Islanders fans as the season progresses. Especially, if there isn't a good broadcaster among the crop of interns (which probably will not be the case).
