Dvorak's Late Winner Downs Isles in Florida

Sunrise, FL (Sports Network) - Radek Dvorak netted the go-ahead goal with 6:32 left in the third period, and the Florida Panthers held on for a 4-3 win over the New York Islanders at BankAtlantic Center.

John Tavares, the first overall pick in the 2009 draft, notched his first career hat trick for the Islanders. But Florida got the victory thanks to Dvorak's score and goaltender Tomas Vokoun, who made 30 saves. He stopped all 10 shots he faced in the third period as the Panthers won for the third time in four games.

Mike Weaver had a goal and an assist for Florida, while David Booth and Steve Bernier also scored.

Rick DiPietro turned aside 26 shots for the Islanders, who had won their last three.
