2012 NFL Mock Draft: National Football Post Makes Third And Fourth Round Picks For New York Giants

The National Football Post is conducting a week-long NFL Mock Draft and recently mocked three players to the New York Giants in the third and fourth rounds. NFP had the Giants selecting Stephen Gilmore, cornerback from South Carolina and Chandler Jones from the Syracuse Orange in the first and second rounds, respectively.

Third round:

94. New York Giants: Brian Quick WR, Appalachian State

Exhibits natural athleticism, coordination and some burst as a route runner. Has some upside to his game, but reminds me some of a Ramses Barden type prospect. A big guy who can adjust, but is never going to separate much out of his breaks in the NFL.

Fourth round:

127. NY Giants: Tony Bergstrom OG, Utah

A big, strong tackle prospect with some short area quickness for his size. But struggles with flexibility in pass protection and looks limited in what he can offer an NFL offense. However, looks more coordinated and plays lower as a guard and looks like that is where his future lies in the NFL.

131. NY Giants: Sean Spence OLB, Miami

A gifted sideline-to-sideline athlete who can play in space and make plays off his frame. Size is a concern, but looks like a starter in a cover two scheme who can play three downs in the NFL.
