2012 NFL Draft: Todd McShay Examines Giants Options

The only certainty about the NFL draft is that there is a glut of uncertainty surrounding the proceedings, as invariably we will witness a plot twist that likely no one foresaw.

Todd McShay of ESPN knows as much, which is why he released his latest mock draft with multiple scenarios for each of the 32 first round selections.

Here's a summary on his New York Giants-related musings:

- The primary option for the G-Men is to take a player who fills a position of need, and thats OT Mike Adams of Ohio State.

- Additionally, he points to the opportunity to take what he calls a "luxury" selection, such as Stanford TE Coby Fleener or Nebraska OLB Lavonte David.

- Finally, McShay brings about the possibility of New York orchestrating a trade with a team looking to climb back into the first round, while the Giants would acquire a pick and still get players of need in the second round.
