Giants Vs. Falcons Score Update: John Abraham Pressure Forces Giants' Safety, Atlanta Leads 2-0 Early In Second Quarter

The Atlanta Falcons have scored the game's first points in the second quarter but it wasn't how you would have expected it, as New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning was called for intentional grounding in his own end zone which led to a safety that gave the Falcons a 2-0 lead just 1:16 into the second.

As you can see, Manning's penalty was a result for a solid pass rush by Falcon's defense end John Abraham, who also recorded a sack in the first quarter that ended scoreless.

The situation was setup by a holding penalty that came on the drives second play and moved the ball to the Giant's 13-yard line.
