Giants Vs. Cardinals Wednesday Injury Report

The New York Giants got some good news on the injury front Wednesday. Defensive end Osi Umenyiora, out since preseason after athroscopic knee surgery, practiced for the first time. Wide receiver Mario Manningham, who missed Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles with a concussion, was cleared to return and practiced on a limited basis.

The Giants, however, might have lost wide receiver Brandon Stokley. The veteran left practice with a quadriceps injury, the severity of which is not yet known.

Prince Amukamara, the cornerback selected in the first round of the 2011 NFL Draft by the Giants, is still “a ways away” according to coach Tom Coughlin.
