When it comes to injuries, the New York Giants just can't seem get out of harm's way this season. Earlier Wednesday the Giants announced that wide receiver Domenik Hixon will miss the rest of the season with a torn ACL to his right knee, the same injury that cause the wide receiver/punt returner to miss all of the 2010 season.
The Giants are hoping for good news on some of their other injured players. Mario Manningham suffered a concussion Monday against St. Louis is still waiting for test results to determine his status. Defensive end Osi Umenyiora is expected to practice Thursday after having missed the first two games following arthroscopic knee surgery. Tight end Travis Beckum, who has missed both games this season with hamstring issues, is also expected to practice.
For Philadelphia, quarterback Michael Vick is listed as not participating in practice. Coach Andy Reid, however, said Vick did participate in the team's walk-through on Wednesday.
