The New York Giants scored 14 points off St. Louis Rams turnovers en route to building a 21-6 halftime lead in their Monday Night Football meeting.
Eli Manning hit Hakeem Nicks for a 3-yard touchdown pass after a fumbled punt by Greg Salas of St. Louis. When Cadillac Williams muffed a lateral Giants linebacker Michael Boley returned it 65 yards for a score. The Giants third touchdown came shortly before halftime when Manning hit Domenik Hixon, who made a beautiful juggling catch for a 22-yard touchdown.
Manning completed 9-of-18 passes for 104 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the first half.
St. Louis quarterback Sam Bradford passed for 254 yards as the Rams moved the ball at will against the Giants through the air, but were unable to score a touchdown. The Rams had to settle for a pair of Josh Brown field goals to get their only points in the first half.
