For a change there seemed to be some good injury news on Thursday for the New York Giants. Justin Tuck, who missed Sunday’s season-opener against the Washington Redskins with a neck injury practiced on what coach Tom Coughlin called a “limited” basis. Wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, who has a bone bruise on his knee did not practice, but Coughlin said he has made “good progress.” Both players have indicated they expect to play Monday night against the St. Louis Rams.
For St. Louis, quarterback Sam Bradford was able to practice and seems as if he will be ready for Monday night. Running back Steven Jackson has a quad injury and did not practice, but has not yet been ruled out for Monday.
