2011 NFL Draft: Falcons Trade Up, Take Julio Jones At No. 6

The first trade of the 2011 NFL Draft came at No. 6, where the Atlanta Falcons engineered a trade with the Cleveland Browns to move up from No. 27. With the pick the Falcons took Alabama wide receiver Julio Jones.

After Cam Newton went to Carolina, other picks have been as follows:

- No. 2, Denver: Von Miller, LB, Texas A&M
- No. 3, Buffalo: Darreus Miller, DT, Alabama
- No. 4, Cincinnati: A.J. Green, Georgia
- No. 5, Arizona: Patrick Peterson, CB, LSU

The New York Giants have the 19th overall selection in the first round. The New York Jets have the 30th selection.
