Initial Thoughts

- The Jets remain a prime-time favorite, with five games at night this season, including three of them at home. Late in the season they will have back to back night games against the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos, which will be tough because Denver will be on a short week with the game being on Thursday.

- The first three games are against teams who didn't make the playoffs last year. However, they do have three straight road games in weeks 3-5, including tough match-ups against Baltimore and New England.

- Four of the Jets six last games are against teams who missed the playoffs last year

- The much anticipated showdown with the Giants will take place on Christmas Eve.
