2011 NFL Mock Drafts: Anthony Castonzo Still Popular Pick For Giants

NFL draft boards will change after this week's NFL Scouting Combine, but here are the results of several of the most-recently updated pre-Combine mock drafts for the New York Giants. Offensive tackle remains a popular use of the Giants first-round selection, 19th overall, as six of the 10 mocks I selected here went for a tackle.

Three of those went for Boston College offensive tackle Anthony Castonzo [full profile] and three for USC tackle Tyron Smith [full profile]. If Smith continues to impress at the Combine, however, he will end up off the board well before the Giants select in the April draft.

Mock drafters who think the Giants will go defense in the first round continue to lean toward UCLA outside linebacker Akeem Ayers [full profile], considered the best 4-3 outside linebacker in this draft class.
