Miles Austin Injury Update: Cowboys Expect To Have WR Back Against Giants, According To Report

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin is expected to be back on the field on Sunday when the Cowboys play the New York Giants (via Dallas Morning News). Cowboys owner Jerry Jones even expects Austin to be back in practice on Wednesday.

Austin has missed the last four games for the Cowboys due to a right hamstring injury that he sustained during a 23-13 win over the Seahawks on Nov. 6. In six games this season, Miles has made 28 receptions for 403 yards and four touchdowns. The Cowboys offense has really struggled to score points without Austin the last three weeks. Their highest point total during that stretch was 27 in an overtime win against the Redskins. Dallas only managed 13 points last week in a loss to the Cardinals.
