Giants Vs. Packers Third Quarter Score: Giants Trail, 28-24

The New York Giants trail the Green Bay Packers, 28-24, after three quarters Sunday at MetLife Stadium.

After the Packers took a 21-17 halftime lead into the locker rooms, they started off the second half with the ball. Green Bay put together another impressive time killing 80-yard drive to extend their lead to 28-17. Greg Jennings was ruled to have caught a 20-yard touchdown pass from Aaron Rodgers. Video of the of the catch seems to suggest that ruling was generous, see it here (via SB Nation.com).

The Giants did respond to the controversial Packers touchdown. Hakeem Nicks caught a 4-yard touchdown pass from Eli Manning to cut into the Packers lead. After three quarters of action, the Giants are still hanging around with the Packers only trailing 28-24. If the Giants end up losing the game closely, look to that Jennings play that was upheld as a catch to be one of the crucial plays that determined the outcome.
