Giants Vs. Jets: Darrelle Revis Responds To New York Giants Trash Talk

Cornerback Darrell Revis fired the latest round of trash talk leading up to the New York Giants-New York Jets game.

Responding to comments from Giants wide receivers Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz, the Jets' Revis said Saturday's game can only be decided on the field.

"I don't even know who this guy is, really. So, no," Revis said on whether the comments made by Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks got him revved up. "Whoever said what. I'm not entertaining it. If I wanted to watch entertainment I'd look to a reality show or something. Watch TV.

"It don't matter what I say, it doesn't matter what other receivers say, if it's on paper, it's on paper. You have to go out there and play on Sundays and you have to prove it. You just gotta prove it."

Nicks and Cruz both tried to downplay Revis' effect on games, with Cruz asserting that nobody considers Revis scary anymore.

When read that specific comment, Revis joked: "I mean I'm not a monster so why would anybody be scared? I don't know."
